As a new or existing client of Central Valley Animal Hospital, you should expect and receive our full attention to your pet’s and your needs. Our service should be provided with courtesy and respect.
On arrival for your visit, we will greet you warmly and get your visit in motion. We will take you both into the first available examination room. If you have to wait feel free to browse in the waiting area and if your pet becomes restless then our yard area is available. Our goal is to see all of our clients and patients as quickly as possible but also to spend as much time with each client and patient as is needed. Although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.
You will normally see a Veterinary Technician/Assistant first who will take a history, and gather some data for the doctor. Most all outpatient procedures are done in the exam room with the owner present. This allows you to see what is occurring and also for the doctor to give you findings of the exam as well as ask additional questions. The doctor will examine your pet, gather information, answer your questions and plan further diagnostics or treatment as needed. At the end of the visit the Technician/Assistant will wrap things up by providing educational information and answer routine wellness and care questions for you. They will finish by scheduling any follow up visits and taking care of the fee payment. Please ask questions. These help us do our job much better. Our job is to care for your pet and to educate you to care for your pet.
